Richard is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer with forty years of experience representing businesses and individuals in litigation, arbitration, and mediation. His practice is focused on lawsuits brought under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the disability rights provisions in the Fair Housing Act. He is the author of Accessibility Defense (accessdefense.com), a blog that provides news and information to help businesses avoid and defend disability rights litigation. Richard has served as an adjunct professor teaching Disability Law at the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University and on the Texas State Bar Disability Issues Committee. He frequently speaks on topics related to disability rights litigation for professional organizations like the Society of Exchange Counselors, the Security Summit for the International Conference of Shopping Centers and the National Retail Tenants Association as well as for organizations for legal professionals like the American Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association and University of Texas Law School CLE program. He has been interviewed on disability rights litigation issues by Forbes, The Economist, The National Psychologist and many other publications.In addition to his work in the field of disability rights education and litigation Richard has served on the Examination Committee for Civil Trial Certification for the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and as an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at Texas Wesleyan School of Law. Richard obtained his B.A., magna cum laude, from Rice University and his J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin.

Beth Meyer is currently the Executive Director of the Florida Independent Living Council (FILC). She has over 24 years of experience in working with people with disabilities as an ADA Coordinator and through her work at Centers for Independent Living.Beth attended UNF as a Special Education Major, completed her ADA Certification from the University of Missouri, and received recognition as a Professional Associate by the United States Access Board National Association of ADA Coordinators. She has been recognized with several leadership awards, including DOE Division of Blind Services – Employer of the Year, Woman, Words and Wisdom – Unsung Heroes, and Jacksonville Council of the Blind – Recognition of Service and Leadership.Governor Scott appointed Beth to the Florida Building Commission as the Accessibility Specialist. During her time on the Commission, she participated in the updates and approval of the 2014 ADA Florida Accessibility Building Codes.Beth has experience in the project and contractual management in her role as ADA Coordinator and was responsible for oversight and deliverables of a Project Civic Access Agreement. She has served on several boards, including Transportation Disadvantaged, Special Olympics Management Team, Accessible Housing Task Force, and the Accessibility Advisory Council.

Ken's worked in accessibility for 30 years. His background combines a strong legal background, commitment to disability rights, and passion for technology.
