Andrea Mocellin graduated with honours from the IED in Turin, then attended the Royal College of Art in London, gaining a Master's degree in vehicle design.His experience includes the role of Chief Designer at Granstudio, as a senior designer at Lilium, Nio, Alfa Romeo / Maserati and as a creative designer for Pininfarina, Audi AG, GM forum, Cleto Munari and as an interior designer in London. Several projects he has worked on have been exhibited during the Ever Motor Show in Beijing and Geneva in Munich, MART in Rovereto and the Transport Museum in London.In 2018, he presented Revolve wheel, a folding wheel that aims to open new frontiers in the field of micro-mobility. The project received several awards and was exhibited at several international design and innovation fairs.In February 2021, it launched the Revolve air wheelchair after 3 years of development as an independent project. Revolve air aims to become the world's first wheelchair suitable as carry-on luggage on aeroplanes. After its public launch, Revolve air gained immediate global attention on the web and social media receiving incredible feedback from the active wheelchair community (including the audience award at the Travel Ability Summit). Getting more than 1500 requests to test and buy Revolve air in just a few weeks. On 25 March 2021, Revolve-wheel partnered with DEXET technologies to transfer the first functional prototypes into a production-ready product with the aim of reaching the market in mid-2022. Since April 2021, it has been selected for the Mobility Lab, a 9-month programme to test the product in public and private spaces in the Netherlands. Revolve air was selected and awarded for the VIVA technology 2021 held in Paris as one of the most innovative products at Europe's largest start-up and technology festival. Recently Revolve air received the 'Red Dot Design Award', the world's most renowned design competition.
