Design, Develop, and Deploy for Accessibility Series

Written by Accessibility.com Team | May 10, 2023

Accessibility.com is pleased to present a three-part series on Design, Develop, and Deploy for Accessibility. The series provides panel discussions from subject-matter experts in designing, developing, and deploying for accessibility. Each session builds on one another, providing examples, best practices, and approaches from the panel members' lived experiences.

The ultimate goal is to design software, websites, and mobile applications that drive the user experience forward and is accessible and inclusive to all.

Mike Paciello of WebABLE hosts each session. Mike's experience in accessibility is deep, and he has worked with various companies around developing and executing their accessibility plans through his company, The Paciello Group. He has also contributed to the 508 committee and W3C. He loves the term "AUX," meaning Accessible User Experience. He is an accomplished public speaker.

For Design, Mike is joined by Reginè Gilbert (UX Designer, Professor (NYU), and Author), Kate Kalcevich (Fable), and David Sloan (TPGi).

At Development, Mike's friends Gerard Cohen (Atlassian) and Joe Dolson (accessible web content developer, consultant, and contributor to WordPress) join him in the discussion.

Deploy features Mike and two colleagues and friends, Becky Gibson (Ultimate Kronos Group) and Leonie Watson (TetraLogical).
