Founded in 1996, LCM Architects is a 60-plus-person architecture firm and industry leader in ADA and FHA accessibility consulting that intentionally blends these specialties to create built environments that are supportive of an inclusive society. We endeavor to create built environments that have a positive impact on the communities they serve. LCM leverages the diverse backgrounds and personal experiences of our designers, architects, and accessibility specialists to shape our work. Our portfolio includes projects in corporate, cultural, education, government, hospitality, residential, medical, laboratory, retail, and transportation sectors. We approach every project from multiple perspectives to fuse function and spatial relationships into successful and accessible built environments. Academics West was founded in 2011 by Dr. Jeffrey Kassinove and Dr. Evan Flamenbaum, both of whom are mental health professionals and educators. Initially, they worked together to help students who struggled social-emotionally to fit within a typical educational setting. Over time, they realized that a typical general or special education setting is not always effective, even with extensive support.
