Together, STS believes this act of sharing can and will transform the medical and social perception of life with chronic illness.

Interesting Facts
Approximately 133 million people suffer from ongoing chronic illness in the United States. That’s more than 40% of the total population of this country.
At times, the social stigma surrounding chronic disease can be as difficult to cope with as the illness itself. This stigma can leave chronic illness patients feeling invisible, dismissed, and silenced.
STS wants to break that silence.
