Disability Pride Philadelphia Inc. is a nonprofit organization of disabled people and our allies; committed to promoting visibility and mainstreaming the positive pride felt by people with disabilities within their communities. Our organization is dedicated to building pride, teaching accessibility, being intersectional; and striving for inclusion by planning fun, accessible, inclusive events in our community.

Project Spotlight
Disability Pride Philadelphia is gearing up for monthly programming, based on its 30 day event response, through YouTube and Facebook. They are also revved up for October which is Disability Action Month, a project that they worked on with Governor Wolf.
Interesting Facts
Disability Pride Philadelphia celebrated 30th Anniversary of the ADA with 30 days, 72 events all with access as first priority. They welcomed everyone to join and 26 countries enjoyed different events like ADA: Then and Now, Stutterpalooza, ADAPalooza, music by disabled artists, comedy by Maysoon Zayid and Nina G. They do not have funders but have raised enough money since the beginning to have the best events around.
