In November, 60 website accessibility lawsuits were filed. 10 plaintiffs drove 71% of the activity, and Equal Access Law Group, PLLC led all filers with 33 complaints. Illinois accounted for the largest share of cases at 78%, followed by Wisconsin at 11%. Notably, 40% of the sued websites were running a third-party accessibility overlay. Nearly half of complaints (66%) cited WCAG 2.2 as the evaluation standard, underscoring its role as the prevailing benchmark.
