Paula Tobler
Supervising Attorney | Disability Rights California

Paula Tobler currently works as a Supervising Attorney at Disability Rights California in their Pathways to Work Practice Group. She came to DRC from private practice as a labor and employment attorney specifically because of her interest in employment opportunities and reasonable accommodations for mental health disabilities. Since becoming a member of the California bar thirty years ago, she has practiced law in many different subject areas. She attributes her current career path to being in a major auto accident 22 years ago that gave her personal experience with Traumatic Brain Injury and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Carrying these diagnoses and seeing the disparity between what she can do with little to no accommodation and what others assume she can do based on misconceptions of her diagnoses lit a fire in her to educate and advocate for others in similar circumstances.
Paula will be speaking about “What Went Wrong: Lessons Learned from Employee Lawsuits in Enterprise” on October 13th, 2021.

Effectively Managing Accessibility for Business
#NameYourPlus

AccessibilityPlus reinforces the concept that accessibility is not the destination: it's the starting point. It's the baseline.
Take part in the #NameYourPlus campaign to tell businesses and the world what is important to you — tell them what you want.
Here's how it works
- Take a photo of yourself sharing what is important to you when it comes to a more accessible world.
- Use the #NameYourPlus hashtag on Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn to contribute your unique voice to the conversation.
- Help to change the world.
We will compile all of your "plusses" and we will share them on our social media channels and during the virtual conference. This is your opportunity to contribute to change.
