Turning Point, Inc. is a non-profit organization that is committed to providing exceptional services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Turning Point, with its team of dedicated employees, strives to teach, empower and encourage the individuals to be self-confident and to make positive contributions to their communities. In doing so, they remain committed to providing a safe and healthy environment on their journey.

Services Provided

Turning Point, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in 1971. They are committed to providing exceptional services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

How Many People Reached

Turning Point currently support 150 individuals living in residences in 12 cities and towns located in the Merrimack Valley and North Shore of Massachusetts.

How Donations Are Used

General operating support, capital improvements to residences.

Project Spotlight

Turning Point is currently looking to purchase new homes and renovate existing homes. They have received funding from the Department of Developmental Services, Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, and the Department of Transitional Assistance, but they are continuously asking Turning Point if it is acquiring new homes to house more individuals.

Interesting Facts

Turning Point will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2021. It opened its first residential home in 1988.
