RFI endeavors to create an enabling environment for individuals to overcome their disabilities and live to their full potential to become empowered and responsible citizens.

Services Provided

Advocacy for the rights and protections of people with disabilities. Educational materials and mentorship connections for child amputees and their families. Character and empowerment programs for children with disabilities through aviation related activities.

Project Spotlight

With the donation of an Ercoupe airplane in August 2019, Rightfooted Foundation is organizing outreach programs within the aviation community and an annual "fly day" for children with disabilities to experience a flight in a small airplane.

Interesting Fact

Rightfooted Foundation was started by Jessica Cox, who is most famous for becoming the first licensed pilot in history with no arms. Jessica has worked with the Nobel Prize winning NGO Humanity & Inclusion since 2013. She created her foundation to allow her to focus on supporting children with disabilities, especially child amputees.
