Since 2016 the Department of Education has worked its way across the United States reaching settlement agreements with higher education and K-12 to improve accessibility for students. Participants will learn how to begin creating an inclusive environment for students by embracing web accessibility standards and requirements, creating effective, accessible, and understandable reasonable accommodation processes, ensuring effective communication, and incorporating accessibility in its electronic formats, including presentations, digital documents, and e-Books
