Accessibility.com celebrates the 31st Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act by promoting accessibility education and awareness.

Today, on the 31st Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Accessibility.com celebrates the inclusion and access promoted by the historic civil rights law for Americans with disabilities. The Americans with Disabilities Act guarantees equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities to access businesses, employment, transportation, telecommunications, and state and local government programs and services as well.

Accessibility.com’s mission is to create objective and trustworthy information and resources to become a catalyst for equal access to the physical and digital worlds. To that end, Accessibility.com has identified critical barriers to accessibility, which include but are not limited to:

  • Employment
  • Transportation
